Anybody know of any bike shops that hire out GPS's?

I need to get my hands on one for dusi2c in June but can't be asked to spend a good couple of grand on something I'm not going to use much after that.

Cheers.

Surely you knew about the GPS necessary for navigation before entrering?

PS: you dont need to splash out on the top end GPS, the hiking GPS will work as well. Just need a RAM bar mount

Of course I knew it was necessary to have a GPS before entering, I don't see your point.

I'm currently using a Garmin Edge 200 which is perfect for my current cycling activities.

I don't see the need to spend more money on a GPS I don't need, whether it be a "cheaper" hiking GPS or not.

If I can hire one or borrow one that would be best.

Would be more likely.  Just ask around.  one of my friends did it two years ago and borrowed this from someone, just had to buy the mount http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/91c3zV4wtZS._SL1500_.jpg

You can borrow my Garmin etrex yellow for free....not sure if you can load a route though...it's been so long that I looked at it..I can't remember...when I'm home on Saturday I'll have a look

If you not planning on winning then just pair up with another team of similar strength who have a garmin. Or follow the tracks on the ground[emoji28]
