I have not had a look at the new roadset but a very good friend of mine will be getting his set in the next week or so......

(Putting it on the new Cannondale System 6......

I will give a thorough report once I have had the chance to see and ride (If he does not mind) the bike.

If you have smallishhands I don;t think it'll work for you.

Just looking at the angles needed to downshift 3 gears I'd say youcould have downhifted 3-4 gears for the same throw of the lever with a Campy or Shimano system.

as always, try before you buy.

HAd the stuff in my hands yesterday, very clean looking, the shifting feel is nice. It's gonns be different on a bike while riding obviously, there is also gonna be a learning curve, I can't wait to start learning.

Yeah, the problem is you can't mix and match, if you use the SRAM shifter you ave to use the SRAM derrailleurs as well. The rest is interchangeable with Shimano though.

you can't really mix and match them since the shifters pull a different amount of cable to both Shimano and Campagnolo just to make sure you buy the whole gearbox (shifters, derailleurs, )

The oics above show for only one gear shift. single upshifts I can live with but for the same lever throw I'd have made two downshifts on the ErgoPowers and my hands are pretty average in size.

for a woman or a short bloke, I reckon you're going to be limited to single up and downshifts.

The Double tap allows 3 downshifts in a single throw, it's just the distance the lever has to move to achive this thats the problem for me.

But this is their first production design, I'm sure it will be refined in time and then I think it will be a very strong competitor to Dual Control STi and Ergopower.
