I'm looking for a new pair of mtb XC shoes, the ones I'm looking at are the SIDI Eagle 5 fit @ R2000 and the Fizik Boa M5 @ R2300, any adivice on price or where I can get something similar for the same price, I am in Cape Town.

Thanks Guys

Once again sidi make cycling shoes, other manufacturers simply make clogs.

Go sidi and never look back.

I've switched from Scott to Spez Comp MTB shoes. Best R1400 I've ever spent.

Replaceable inserts, and Boa ratchet. You cannot go wrong.

Any Spez cyclery concept store has them!

Funny, I did the reverse. Switched from Spez to Scott, best bucks I've spent. [emoji23]

Sidi.

I have a 9 year old pair (Dragon SRS) that looks like it had a serious beating (which it did take) but are still as functional and comfortable as the day I bought it. Recently bought a pair of mid-range Mavics with which I'm also very happy.

What brand is recommended for wide feet?

I've often seen Sidi recommended for a wider foot. Shimano also have wide models of most of their shoes.
