HappyMartin Posted May 4, 2015 Posted May 4, 2015 I couldn't stand it and phoned the reserve. It is not open. The guy on the phone was friendly and helpful, encouraged me to call again as they hope to have it open soon but was unable to give me a date. Dam dam dam dam dam.
Joe Low Posted May 4, 2015 Posted May 4, 2015 I'll sign an indemnity saying I'll bring my own damn water and not hold them responsible should I be found dehydrated and curing like biltong on the tar.Just need them to flipping open already. I agree but was wondering if it wasn't the fire hazard that gave them the regulatory problem.

An announcement regarding the reopening of the Reserve will be made in due course. The water supply project has been the responsibility of GDID (not the Reserve) and was supposed to be finished 10 years ago."

Come on, lets not be silly about this.Not been silly at all, the Reserve is in a closed area and in the past there have been numerous complaints of riders urinating and cr@pping all over even with facilities available , how much more so when they are closed.
