Identification while riding

Hi

Was wondering what form of identification one should take with while out riding for if something goes wrong. Most of my riding I am doing alone. I normally take my cell with and just my drivers license.  But yesterday while out shopping I discovered that my drivers license was still on my road bike and I have been through quite a few road blocks recently without it.

My ICE has the following info:

Name, medical aid details, 2x ICE contact, chronic diseases (I have bad asthma), and allergies.

I usually carry my cell, but in the case of theft/damage, the ICE ID is the only other identification I have (I never carry my wallet).

Since I was on warfarin I have been wearing my ICEid every day.

Best R200 I have ever spent. I have 3 different colour straps, black for night/fancy events and yellow or blue for day time ...it is more visable and doesnt look like just a normal arm band, so if I am in an emergency someone will be able to notice it.

Super comfy and never fell off or irritated me.

Our club issues every rider with an ID card with name, ID number, medical aid and emergency contact details to keep in their saddle bag, top-tube bag or wallet.  Useful!

ICE ID. Medical personnel will look for it.

Mine got me into private hospital when I could not speak for myself without any other identification.

There are several systems where you carry a number and then your rescuer must phone to get your details. Why involve a human? ICE ID is visible and has all the details available immediately.

I also have on my car keyring a little aluminium capsule (Sportsmans Warehouse) which has all the same details in for when I am not wearing my ICEID.
