Serious question. Is there a trick to knowing how much is left in a bomb.

The one I've been carrying around I thought was full when i needed it today it wasn't and i forgot I'd put my spare in OH's pack.

Unless you know the metal's weight (and the brands differ) and you have an accurate scale (like cartridge reloaders use) you can't. I presume the inflator was already connected? I screw them on only partially to the point before it pierces. Previously I have left the tap closed on a pierced bomb and after a while the bomb was always empty. I think it is for immediate use only. If you had a sealed but empty bomb I apologise and please ignore.

once you attach it to your inflator and break the seal its use it or loose it

even in inflators with a cut off valve it will slowly leak till its empty

you should always carry a new unused bomb

Ahhh ok that makes sense. Yeah I stuck it in the inflator thinking its easier to store as one unit.

Lesson learned. Tx guys.

If you are going to rely on bombs and don't carry a pump with you on a ride. .....Make sure you at least have 2x bombs with you

I am a big blip on Admin's Modradar.......one day you are still here, next day you are a series of dead bytes space in some backup folder.........FRIGHTNING. More lethal and undercover than..........(maintaining radio silence for now).
