Hullabaloo - Easton

Good luck with Hullabaloo, I mailed them a while back with regard to Evoc travel bags (who are supposedly the agents) with regard to getting a replacement part.  Still have yet to hear anything from them... not even a mail to say thanks for the inquiry will get back to you.

I eventually ordered online overseas!

I waited 3 months for a new free body. Only received feedback when I send a mail to Easton HQ and I had the goods in a weeks time.

I got a fairly quick reply from Pierre at Hullabaloo but they had no stock of Easton EC70 bars I was looking for. Seems like no one in the country has stock except for Evobike but I can get them cheaper from CRC.

General consensus with most of the "agents"of our beloved bike parts is that they tend NOT to respond or reply to mail messages as their client is the bike shop and not the end user unfortunately.Sad reality. And when dealing with most of them we tend to just be ignored.

Chat to Naas or Janos at Evo before you run to CRC. I'm sure they'll make a plan if they can. Buying through them you'll have the item in a few days. I've heard horror stories buying from CRC lately - not necessarily CRC, more customs/ postage delays.

They don't respond to the bike shops either. Was looking for a part from dragon sorts for my giant ,literally 5 shops asked for the part and not one got info back, when I spoke to some random at dragon later , turns out it's a part in stock and easily avaliable, yet no one could make it happen. I think they just plain not interested.

Get no response from Evobikes either. Decided to go for some nice RaceFace Next flat bar from CWC at R1,399 even cheaper than CRC

That's surprising.! Evobikes are normally very good with comms and service.

But I suppose it can happen anywhere.

As a shop we don't have any hassles with Hullabaloo. Called the rep this morning with an Evoq order and it's on it's way already.

There are a few other agents who are cr@p - especially the bigger ones. Took one of them 5 months of calling and emailing to acknowledge that we were an actual bicycle shop and 3 more months to pass 2 sets of credit checks. Nevermind that we only want a COD account.

Yip. Contacted Hullo-no-clue when they landed the Rocky Mountain agency a few years back, to purchase a bike... After 2 months of read receipts and no reply, bought an Epic. Probably did me a favour...
