Minnaar says he was happy to be on the podium after a fat crash in practice. Thought he was a bit conservativee, but it was a good thing by the sound of it. 

 

Sorry to see Fearon crashing - he needs some head coaching I think. Ragged and wild doesn't win most races methinks.

Not sure thats correct. I thought they reviewed their decision and now allow it as long as its mounted to the visor ie will break off more easily in a crash.

I am not sure about that. Rachel had hers on the top of her helmet and I saw others with them on there bikes.

As far as I know they are only banned in your race run unless you have been given approval.

considering she was going to retire last year  - i would say thats the last time we see her - unless she decides to do a final world cup race to bow out it in style instead of dropping off a yellow box

 

I'll be sad if she leaves the scene: ragdoll Ragot. Hottie for sure and bonkers on a bike.

this weekend between the xc and the dh - it was good to see how much respect these guys and girls have for each other - loic singing the praises the josh after he's just toppled him over and schurter and absalon commending each other multiple times for a great race...excellent stuff

Whatta race! Loic, absolutely destroyed it, and to lose by .2 of a second is not too bad.

 

Seems like ratboy is back on form.

 

Mr min had a great run other than pumping over the new bridge, it racing, and the seconds he lost there would not have made such a huge difference looking at the time bruni and bryceland posted.

 

Only watched the recording this afternoon, had to maintain Twitter and hub silence as to not see any results prior to me watching.

Ratboy is riding well again, enjoyed it that there was only 0.2sec between the top 3. Shame that Loic lost his chain.

This guy is in my mind the future Mr Minn......smooth and fast, cool and calm off the bike and he seems to be well liked by all.

 

As per Peat having that Hairy Brit as his protoge, so too should Mr Min have BBRRRUUUNNNIII under his wing.

 

So if he had a chain to pedal with he would have finally managed his first WC race win, damned pity, but such is racing.

the minute he destroyed gwinn on saturday, I was happy because if he stayed there, then it was someone i wanted to be on the top...as it turned out 3 of my favorites were in the top 4
