Trek SuperFly FS 9 advice

hi All

 

Sweet and short what do you thick of this bike ?

the suggested retail price is 40k and i can get it for 35k at this stage

pretty good spec - Sram X1 1x11speed 

rockshox SID in front 

Aluminium frame ........but they recon its pretty light weigh ??

I want to cell my Giant XTC 2014 hardtail and buy this for training and racing the flatter short fast rides.

 

I also have a Spezz Epic Comp Carbon which i use for stages an longer rides.

 

what do you think ?

It will certainly do the job. Great bike. I have one and sold my Trance to get it. I still have regrets in selling the Giant.

Trek make some great bikes, and there G2 geometry makes for a nimble bike.

I own one(hardtail) and will never sell it.

It will be very similar to your Epic. If I were in your shoes I would rather buy something more trail orientated to supplement your Epic. Something like a Camber, or Stumpjumper or Trek Remedy. No point in having 2 marathon bikes.
