I need some help from the mavic experts.

I have a Ksyruim 2010 and Cosmic Carbone SR 2012 model wheelsets.

Problem is that the casettes / wheel spacing is not aligned I.E When I change wheels the gears dont work perfectly from one to the other.

How do I go about aligning the wheels so that I set the gears once and that when I change wheels the gears work perfectly with either wheelset.

I currently run Shimano 11 speed. No spacer at the back of either casette.

I would have thought that all Mavic wheels are standard and that changing from one to the  other would have no impact on the casette / Rear deraileur alignment.

Check both wheelsets to see if one of them has a very thin spacer (1 mm) between the cassette and the freebody, and the other one not.

If yes, there is your problem.

You must however remove your cassette to check this.

Fit both with the spacer, or remove spacer from both if one has it and the other not.

Thanks Wannabe,

Any help on this?

On that link there is a chart with the compatibility of different cassettes with different wheels. Other than this, I can't help any further.

I had the same problem as you with my two Rolf Vector wheelsets, and one had the spacer, the other did not. Fitted a spacer to both, and my problem was solved.

Hope you get your's sorted.

OK - Where and how do I fit this spacer? I cannot fit this behind the casette on the Freebody as this won't work.

Do you fit it somewhere on the Axle?

Any visual help / website will be most appreciated.

The above link explains it very well.  You still get wheel changes that require "retuning".  Two clicks on the adjuster I would consider not unusual but if you need two full turns I would look at the spacing.  Problem is apart from the 1mm spacers you struggle to find anything else.
