Is the plank with the nails still at the bridge? - will go and take a look first thing tomorrow morning.
dirtman Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 Happy to report that I caught the culprits around 1 pm today - four primary school kids from the local farm. They were hiding behind dense bushes, waiting for some "action" after they had dragged a small tree across the single track at the exact same spot as where they put the nails yesterday. Matter has been taken up with the farm owner who will take the necessary action.

When I went in to ride at about 2pm (from hazendal side bottelary rd), a fellow cyclist was busy coming out and informed me that the last section behind Zevenwacht (jeep track)b4 the last single track descent (I think its called mongoose/meerkat or something) looked like it was sabotaged. It had stumps and broken glass in the trail. He had to carry his bike over the gemors. He did inform the marshals though.
