help with full face helmet! ?

Knocked unconscious and broke 2 bones in my face and some teeth over the weekend.

My dirt jump helmet did a great job in saving my brain. But need to look at saving the whole head in future.

Looking for recommendations for full face helmets? Will be on a budget and hope to spend less than R1800.

Eish man, glad you're somewhat okay...

A good place to start is with the Bell range or 661. They do relatively cheap full face helmets, but they're a bit heavier than some of the more expensive competition.

Trying to look myself for a lightweight AM / DH lid, but it's proving difficult to do within a budget.

Same boat here.. Been keeping an eye out for one for a while now..

Wonder why more brands don't make a good well priced ones, like the Etto helmets.. Love mine and I'm sure if they made a full face/AM it would also be awesome and affordable..

I think my Spez full face cost under a grand.  Definitely well under your target range.  If it's good enough for Duran van Eeden's pip I reckon I'm ok.  Been riding it for little more than a year and still happy.  All the padding comes out to wash and it's nice and light.

I bought myself a Fly racing for under 1k. Dont know how it rates, but it is a well known brand. Got it on sale from CRC. I see some nice deals in the classifieds as well

661 does appear to have a good range for people on a budget. ..right now I'm not to worried about the weight. Though I imagine that will become a factor...Thanks for advice....
