Race for Victory seeding

Lol, I nearly died. Didn't have any legs for the last 35km, I was completely blown..

I actually suffer more keeping up with groups on flat sections..

Interesting few articles I read about this so called inertia and pedalling style..

Doesn't necessarily mean a light weight person will be stronger uphill..

Pedalling style/motion of energy has alot to do with what type of riding a person is better at..

And Lots More Training (lol)

These sound worth a read. Any chance you could share the links?

my seeding improved by a whopping 0.20 ... I guess any improvement is good...

Mine is slowly slipping, with the penalties being assed due to time.

My R4V was clearly not as good as some of my other events, or even last year.

Geez mine dropped 5 points ,but then it's easy when your original seeding is high to start with ????

would have been a lot better if we started in the correct groups...

personally I don't think I could of gone faster. Had a good group of 5 and we pushed hard. The only diffrence might of been in a big group I would of suffered less. But am noobie to this road riding thing ,so who knows . But do enjoy the tactical aspect of it. Am used to mnt biking ,where you generally suffer alone. Even when you on someone's wheel ????

Mine climbed 4 points, which I think is just reward for the suffering on Sunday ;)

R4V was a definite wakeup call after doing an easy Emperors as my first long road race on a road bike. It is amazing how the wind can make these two races completely different experiences even though their profiles aren't that much different. The Beta reflects as such, about 0.77 for Emperors and 1.25 for R4V.

Interestingly last year when the index of 947 CC was released, they used a beta of 1.27..

A few months ago I noticed that had been changed to a beta of 1.45..

A few other beta's were also changed..

Maybe we can get lucky if they do the same for R4V. Lol

My index has been on a slippery slope from 11.75 before CTCT to 14.75 now.

15.28 for R4V will at least stop the penalty points for a while.

Does anyone remember the 947 seeding indexes in A batch?

thats what I mean was 32 now 27.. 3 races later. . But am doing amashova so looking forward to riding at the coast again. Then 947 after that,as long as I don't have to go off to late am not really to worried about seeding. Because feel like I am riding at my threshold anyway.
