Jimmy 2.0 Posted September 17, 2015 Posted September 17, 2015 Hi hubers I'm a junior cyclist who is looking for advice on where to by cheap but still good/decent quality tubbies for my carbon deep section that I use for races only. 90% of the time I pay with my own money for my cycling needs and wants (i do have a weekend and holiday job and enjoy the feeling of purchasing my equipment with my own money). So does anyone know of a good online SA shop to buy from? Thanks and happy pedaling.

I have a few times managed to get top of range vittoria, schwalbe, conti tubbies that normally retail over R1k at 50-60% off during their clearance sales. Then you just have to factor in the VAT+ shipping. Otherwise evobikes.co.za have a decent selection.

I think for R880 each, which is quite a decent price when some shops sell them for R1400 each. They are also really good quality tubbies. Edit: Yup, the special is still on http://www.sportsworld.co.za/product.php?id_product=962 Edit edit: Btw, Sportsworld is a reliable online shop and I have no interest in them, other than that I bought the exact same tubbies from them about 6 months ago, (for a R100 more).
