I have a set of brand new Mavic 24 hole hubs and was thinking to build a 29" wheelset .... just wondering what options I have to get a set of rims locally? I checked Kiwi's site but only see 32h ones and not many options elsewhere ...

Would appreciate any help!

Which hubs are they? You're most likely stuck with Mavic rims I'm afraid. The spokes are proprietary and will only work on Mavic rims.

OK I see what you saying ........ demmit. Ah well that idea goes down the tube cause I guess buying 29" rims and their spokes would be quite costly if at all possible?

Ask your local Mavic dealer what a new set of rims and spokes will set you back, then make Raptor's cruet set while crying.

You must be an absolute hoot at braais ......

especially after a free craft beer or two...

but seriously after factoring in the cost of spokes and rimes for those hubs, salt and pepper pots becomes quite a lovely option.......especially around the braai
