tombeej Posted July 15, 2016 Share Preview to the Olympics right here today It's a tough one to judge. Many riders who we expect to feature in the Olympics (Kyrienka, Coppel, etc) will probably have team obligations today, i.e. told they have to save their strength for the stages to come and so they can't give it 100% today. Tubehunter Posted July 15, 2016 Share These from Training Peaks. This is their prediction for today's stage! They were 6 seconds out for Rohan! (1min for Cancellara..) Time EstimatesMost of the top time trialists and GC riders will be close, though Quintana without the raw power will have some work cutout for him and will have to push the climbs to minimize time loss. The following are some fun time estimates based on previous TT rides. The lighter TT specialists in Dennis and Dumoulin should have the advantage but the analysis we did assumed the same weather which could change throughout the day. Froome will most likely know the time he needs to beat so that motivation for Yellow to win the stage might give that little extra bit of power to drop the time out on course.A quick caveat to note is that these are based on previous time trial results for the year or previous years.Tom Dumoulin: 51:41Rohan Dennis: 51:50Chris Froome: 52:15Richie Porte: 52:20Tony Martin: 52:22Fabian Cancellara: 52:33Nairo Quintana: 53:25 Link to the page:http://home.trainingpeaks.com/blog/article/predictions-stage-13-individual-time-trial?feed=70c86158-aad7-4b07-8cc3-7c383b9bd61b
