I am in the market for a new 29er

 

Options are

1. Cannondale scalpel 2 2016

2. Pyga speced to my needs

3. Monson Vipa 2016 orange

 

I have a max of 75k to spend

Do allot of stages races , joberg2c, Epic, Cape Pioneer

 

Wanting a all rounder bike with a decent warranty and backing.

Not after more than 100mm travel ( If more than that bonus)

 

Carbon yes

Alu Pyga no issue

XT group set minimum

Other alu brands, no thanks

2 waterbottle cages

mate has a momsen, don't trust the tire clearance on the rear. bike came with a 1.95 tire on the rear with a 2.2 it will be tight

Warranty is also bad with the momsons. Pyga Stage is a really good bike. The new Merida 96 is getting good reviews overseas. Also can't go wrong with santacruz tall boy carbon either.
