Ok so Santa brought a few goodies today and I shuffled some stuff around ... the 42 gear extender, 16 and 34 narrow wide (Rapide combo) from my wife as well as some red ESI grips. Moved the newer black XT crank and XT pedals from my old Epic to this bike.

 

Now just to get through my single speed only December tradition then I'll go give it a proper test at Thaba ☺

 

Just remembered that in the meantime I fitted a RaceFace Evolve 720mm bar and 80mm stem combination

A few years ago I had a call from Dipsy. He he knew that I dreamed for a SS. Phoned me one Thursday arvie wanted to know where a lekker place was to stay in Bloem. Was bringing me a prezzie.

Arrived the next day with his beautiful wife and super cute daughter and a SS for me.

Behind the scenes Dipper has built me an SS.

With a frame from Travis FTW and Eldrons bike building skills for which I am so grateful, I recieved my dream SS. Dipper is one of the most caring, giving, kindest people that I have ever known. I love the oke, he is an amazing guy and a Gentleman like none other.
