Not necessary, I purchased a tempered glass screen protector 42mm and Survivor tactical case for I-Watch from www.shopandship.co.za. Have used my watch for 8 months now, bought it in Hong Kong. (Strava and Polar beat) tempered glass has some scuff marks but I will replace when necessary.

How much is it extra for the sapphire glass screen?

I like the idea of this watch, it would be perfect if it could register swims at the gym - speaking of which Vitality Rewards program does not recognise swim work out, lengths etc that are uploaded from Garmin, anyone know if this will be addressed soon?

I reach my current goals the day after it starts... Been like that last 6 weeks. So easy!

My targets is 1200 points per week , so not easy to achieve each week.

Maybe I must check why mine is so high.

Oh guys watch dc rainmaker vid or read the post on apple watch and water. Myne had been in the shower 8 times now... Dc even put his in the pool and a pressure test.

Watched his 3 tests, just wonder why Apple doesn't claim the watch is waterproof

I believe the points allocation changes next year - 1200 is the max, I am also on 1200 now and its currently proving a tad difficult to reach week in and week out
