What makes you think that your thread topic indicates that you are looking for a set of pedals? Do you think that all retailers have the time to sit and read every post, or do you think that they should guess what you are going to ask for ? Do you not think that a topic heading along the lines of "calling all on-line retailers: sell me some road bike pedals" may have had a better response ? I think it is still friday --I look in the mirror everyday...and if if you saw what i did you would also be as grumpy as i am. --It says road bike pedals --maybe they dont need to for now because the cycling industry is booming...lets hope for their sake...with the knock in the markets it stays like that...otherwise they gona be closing down and retrenching staff like a a lot of companies as we head into 2016...interest rate starts climbing...i agree with you about the knowing what i want...i should have been more specific. --maybe you right i should have made the topic a more specific.
eccc whippet Posted December 11, 2015 Author Posted December 11, 2015 lets try this again...just for the hell of it because it is friday. lets start with this I am looking for 2 sets of shimano road bike pedals an entry level set for my training bikea set of ultegra pedals. i made a point of mentioning the site sponsor to give them a chance...but because maybe they dont have time or for whatever reason read these posts...it is open to anyone...i have a list of other items i want to purchase...but thought i would start here and see what kind of response i get.

Brickleberry Posted December 11, 2015 Posted December 11, 2015 Interesting response...so you saying i can buy a grey shimano product with the same spec or out the same factory...just bought directly and not via the uk...usa etc with the hectic exchange rate? If you were willing to buy enough stock I'm sure shimano would supply you direct. Problem is quantity. But to help your current problem, I would honestly buy the 105 pedals, the difference between them and ultegra is so small and they are really great pedals. Carbon now too so it's a decent price for a decent product.

Veebee Posted December 12, 2015 Posted December 12, 2015 Ultegra pedals + Shimano R171 or upwards like what you posted on the other thread.Not to be funny, but you have been duplicating quite a few of these "topics" Ultegra retail is about R2k at most places locally, it was about R1300 from Chain reaction last week when I ordered mine. If you need to try on Shimano shoes, go to Chainworx Cycle in Dbn north, they have a big range on the floor.
