So basically if I have x9 shifter and clutch RD, then the RD once shifter is converted, will be able to adapt to 11 speed?

Does somebody know the weight of the Sunrace cassette?

 

Can I replace my xt 11 speed cassette with the Sunrace cassette and use 11 speed xt chains?

I'm kinda sad I went 11 instead of 1x10...The cassett's and chains are a SH1TLOAD more expensive...Like double the price of 10spd XT cassette

This is not necessary as the plastic part has lugs which fit quite snugly into the cutouts of the gear selector.

Yes I am aware of that hence i said "can simply use". It's not prescriptive.

 

I have worked on these shifters and some of the ratchet wheels and plactic retainer have a more lose fit. So if its one of those then a self taper makes life a bit less irritating
