CRC bicycle parts import tax

Did do the search function and just want to be sure.

There is only 14% import tax on bicycle parts ordered from CRC and I must use DHL.

No duties on bicycle components, only complete bikes and clothing.

No duties. You will pay VAT plus a handling fee and relevant courier charges

You pay 14% VAT on imported parts (0% duties) plus a handling fee, budget 16% to the cost of your items including shipping to cover the cost

This is the calculation used: 

[(Customs Value + 10% thereof) + (any non-rebated duties levied on the goods)] x 14%
= [ATV] x 14%
= VAT payable
