Going to catch a stage of the Volta a Catalunya tomorrow :-)

Taking a day off "work" tomorrow so that we can take a 2 hr drive through the countryside Eastwards to catch tomorrow's stage of the "Tour of Catalunya" somewhere around an hour from the finish.

If my calculations are correct we should get to see the riders twice, once as they turn off the main road for a loop in the hills and then as they come back again. If my calculations are wrong we may just see some fields . . .

I will be standing at the side of the road in one of my Team Sky shirts while I cheer as our boys go past :-)

I'll try and snap some pics but I'm not the "Pro Photographer" whose work you guys are used to seeing!

Beautiful sunny day here - hope it's the same 2hrs east.

You've settled in a magnificent little corner of this earth, Bonus, I'm very envious.

I'm still going over all the photos I took of my recent trip there. Will have to come back again in the summer - March is just too cold :)

We looked plenty and thought carefully before we jumped in, and I think we're very happy with our choices. For me cycling was a huge determining factor. Close to the mountains for the T de F and the Vuelta, and of course our our MTB'ing. After that it was all about budget and what "felt right" :-)

We are in position! Changed our plans slightly because the turns off the main road and back on again are in a town and getting busy already. So we are at the foot of the last climb on a sharp hairpin that comes off the main road. They will have to kick here for sure! ‪#‎very excited!

Team busses are starting to go past on their way to the finish at the top :-)
