Earnest appeal for assistance.

Guys, it is with great trepidation that I put out this appeal for assistance. I am not asking for handouts, but help in getting my items sold.

 

Bit of background:

Some of you might recall that I ran out of luck (skill) early in December, and ended up in Hospital. As we only have a Hospital plan, a fair amount of the out of Hospital treatment came out of my own pocket (which is not deep, as it is) 

My wife also suddenly lost her job end of November 2015, leaving us with only my income (I do not have to explain what burden the loss of an partners income places on your finances)

 

I placed an advert for the sale of some of the accumulated Mtb odds and ends I have, but to date not one single item got sold (did not even receive proper interest from any potential buyers)

 

I have the following 2x10 items for sale, all in fair to very good condition, with only the normal scuff marks that daily use produces:

 

1) XX Trigger Shifter and Bottom Pull Front Derailer (clamp on, 35mm diameter). Both in as good as new condition. R900.00 for the pair. SOLD

2) X7 Top Pull Front Derailer (clamp on, 35mm diameter) and Medium cage (non clutch) X7 Medium Cage Rear Derailer. R800.00 for both. Used, but in 100% serviceable condition

3) X0 Medium Cage Rear Derailer (non clutch) R500.00. Used but in 100% serviceable condition

4) X9 Trigger Shifter (2x10 front) R200.00

5) X7 GXP Crankset. Grey, 175mm arms. Fairly new 39-26 chainrings (at least 90% life left) R800.00. Normal scuff marks on arms, but also 100% serviceable Sold

6) 2 x 11-36 Cassettes. R350.00 each. At least 90% life left Sold.

7) 1 x 11-34 Cassette. R250.00. At least 90% lafe left.

All these items are in proper working condition, and would be perfect for someone looking to upgrade from lower quality components, or just needs spares.

 

I am not looking for handouts, just trying to sell these items to cover some of my expenses.

Insurance / Investment Administration. 

There is the possibility of a halfday job for her in the near future, but at a fraction of what she earned before. At least it is more than what she is earning now, so it will help.

At least a bit of light at the end of the tunnel. My better half got the position mentioned above. Start working on 11 April. Salary not great, but OK for a halfday position. At least it is money we did not have.
