Mountain Helmet for a "Roadie" Rider

I am new to "bikehub---first post.  I am strictly a "road" bike rider.  However, I have never been a fan of "road" helmets.  Until last week( crash) my lid was a POC Trabec Race.  I am wondering if any road riders out there ride with mountain or trail helmets.  Specifically, I am interested in the Sis Six One EVO AM MIPS helmet.  Does anyone have information or experience with this particular helmet.  I prefer more head coverage and the visor versus the typical road helmet.  Thank you.  hmc in KY

I use an mtb helmet when I ride my road bike. I prefer it because of the visor as well.
