You missed an opportunity to mention that he is "obviously clean" too

 

Now why would I mention that he is "obviously clean"? Shown promise from a very young age? Of course. Unlike some of the donkey to racehorse stories that we've seen on the World Tour.

Not disputing the talent that we lost but Burry was 21 years 11 months old when he won.

 

Sagan actually came forth and was 19 years 7 months.

 

I reckon at that age 2 and a third years makes a massive difference to performance.

By comparison at the age Sagan was competing in World Championships against rider 2 or 3 years older than himself the greatest "clean" cyclist the world has ever seen was returning this in SA road races:

Agreed. Sagan is a special talent. Intention of the post was not to take anything way from Sagan, he is a class act.

So was Burry. His 2012 Olympics was such a let down.
