I am trying to buy some Schwalbe Marathon tyres but the LBS's do not want to assist me.

Get them from either www.bike-discount.de or www.bike-components.de  Far better pricing and you won't have to hassle with people who don't care about helping you. Ask Janos at Evo what the response was when trying to get a tyre that "would not sell" here.

Not much stock around, the distributor is out on a number of lines and Schwalbe can't supply. I need a ton of tubeless road, gavel and CX tyres but worldwide there is no stock of the 2016 range.

 

It's not always the local bike shops and local distributor who are to blame.

Agree.  I cannot get hold of them either.  Just wish they had a contactable Plan B or a website with an address.

If you do go CRC, I too need some Schwalbes. Sammy Slicks in my case. If you don't come right we can team up.
