Whats this bike worth...Another thread...

Hey everyone!

 

First let me apologize for another whats this bike worth thread. 

 

So one of my Fiance's clients wants to sell his bike, he was going to take it to the local bike shop and just take what they were going to give him but we stopped him so i could maybe buy it from him. The thing is he doesn't remember what model the bike is and what the bike is actually worth.

 

Here are some pics of the bike. If you kind souls could guide me in a model and what i should offer him.

 

The bike from what i was told is a Specialized Stumpjumer.

It seems to be a 2009 model, I would say about R6000 - R7000

5k -7k , maybe 9k to a  26er diehard

I'd say around 5k max. Mate of mine bought one of those in better nick, with a better parts spec for 6k about 6 months ago.

 

Brilliant bikes, but the fox 32 at the front and what seems to be a bit of a well-worn set of rims means it'll be on the lower end of the "what's it worth" spectrum.

Thanks for advice everyone. Will let the guy know i will only be paying max R5000.

 

I haven't looked at the actual bike yet but from the pics it looks in bad condition.
