Absalon had a perfect ride. Will make rest of the season very interesting...

Was a good race, Nino is not cumfy on that 29er,..could see that on the first down, but still finished in a very respectable 4th. Glad for Abs, especially in front of his home crowd,...and I think this will give him a boost for the next one, seeing that he came second by a wheel's length in the last one.

This is what Nino was riding today. What he really needs is a better pit crew. Both punctures at different tech zones and both were bad.

Dropper as well then?

Nino did not look comfortable on that prototype Spark.

Wonder what Scott's plan will be for the next race? I'm pretty sure if Scott had a 650B Spark prototype ready, Nino would've been racing it. If not, he'll probably be back on the current Spark.

You sure he ran a dropper, the commentator said he did not,is that photo from today?

The 2 punctures had a faaaaar greater impact on his race than the fact he rode a 29er...

Makes sense to have the 29" for the obstacles out there

1 flats, never mind 2 tech stops is a sure death

Pretty much even between Schurter and Absalon at this time

What a dual

I am also doubting whether that photo is from the race I looked careful and could not find the dropper in the race , his saddle was also high in the thecnicals which is why I am not sure if he used it in the race

He also did not use that shirt in the race , so I am calling Bullsh#t that he used a dropper

Ya he looked very uncomfortable. Wonder why they would rush a prototype 29er for him to race..when he has been riding 650b for 4 seasons. Really strange decision.

Possibly confidence in his form,..knock one or two (WC points factored) still good for Marketing...and inline for a win or Rio (surprise)
