majoubert@mweb.co.za Posted June 12, 2016 Posted June 12, 2016 Just ended a relationship with my beloved Crackendale as mentioned above , it really cracked !! so WHAT NOW ?? l prefer long distance endurance rides and multiple day's on the road so need space for frame bag and would prefer to ride a 29er dueller again , so what would you buy ?
Lefty V Posted June 13, 2016 Posted June 13, 2016 If they were spec'd the same, which would u prefer??I would prefer that Omnico bring in some 29er Triggers.....
Lefty V Posted June 13, 2016 Posted June 13, 2016 The new Cannondale is a nice machine, pity it took them two years after Spez to release the dual cages and race angles. Maybe now a works rider will finally win a xc wold cup race on one of these. As for Santa Cruz, fugly bikesrace angles?
Chris Willemse Posted June 13, 2016 Posted June 13, 2016 Both of these two brands are available from CWC.
stefmeister Posted June 13, 2016 Posted June 13, 2016 As a one bike only, the SC. If I had to get another bike, the dale.
NelAndre Posted June 13, 2016 Posted June 13, 2016 Eish....tough call, like both.I am a bigger rider so the SC for me then.
Lefty V Posted June 14, 2016 Posted June 14, 2016 Both of these two brands are available from CWC.Yes, don't worry, we noticed the attempt at subliminal marketing ;-) ... but since the bikes are so lovely we will forgive you :-)
banna Posted June 14, 2016 Posted June 14, 2016 Not really a like for like comparison to be honest. The TB (especially in the TB3 guise) will always be more directed at the week end warrior trail rider, whereas the Dale is more the race snake's weapon of choice. For me it'll be the Cruz. Just feels more special.
Jaco-fiets Posted February 12, 2017 Posted February 12, 2017 I currently ride a FSI and it is by far the best handling HT on a uphill, downhill and singletrack I have ever owned. I have owned scott, giant, momsen and a s works. Had the pleasure of riding the new SI yesterday. It handles exactly like the FSI but it is just so comfortable. Bonus is that the bike weighs only about the same as my HT
