Spock Posted June 29, 2016 Posted June 29, 2016 HiI plan on building my own repair stand, but need to find a solution for the clamp. I notice one can buy clamps from cycle shops, mainly online overseas shops, but these are too expensive. Any suggestions to solve this problem? What can i use?Thanks!

johannrissik Posted June 30, 2016 Posted June 30, 2016 Fabricate a clamp using 2mm plate, rubber padding and threaded bar an wing nuts. Just make sure it doesn't damage the frame when you clamp it. It's referred to a "reverse engineering" where I come from. Good luck.

Mongoose! Posted July 1, 2016 Posted July 1, 2016 I have the Craft Tork one from CWC. Worth every cent. Fold up nicely when not in use, not taking much space. It is so cheap I will not go through the hassle of building one self that can end up more expensive / damage your bike...

Was hoping to build my own solid stand for around same price or even less.
