So some info for those who don't know what's available to ride at Thaba ....

Orange - 13k - 233m's of ascent - experience the fun of Thaba without the 'bigger' climbs

Green - 24k - 440m's of ascent - bucket loads of fun and some sections to get your heart rate up! - this is my 'go to' route, all rideable at my level at least (those who know me also know that it is nowhere near 'expert') and you WILL see game!

Blue - 39k - 1150M's of ascent - buckle up for this one, you need to have your big boy/girl pant on that's for sure but for the adrenaline junkies you will be in your element - bring out those long travel trail bikes and #enduro machines I reckon

Went through today - had a OTB at about 10km point on the green - the best part though - I came to a stop when I overshot a corner - and while rolling off again - was adjusting my position on the bike - and as the bike started gathering speed, I braked and didn't shift weight back and that moment when there's no going back :(

Ended up with 19km - skipped the one climb after my fall - was shaking a bit after the fall - I didn't feel like tackling the climb that looked like just a quick up and down (but after looking at map NSBB posted - I see it was quite  a bit that I missed)  after that, but yeah I like the changes. -the one section I used to really dislike (lack of skill and ability to power up short steep climbs) was fire station - its easier to ride now.

Definitely need to make the effort to head out there at least once a month. I rode like a nincompoop today - lots of bad cornering, unnecessary pedal strikes - good skills training out there.

Good job Wendel and team.

I find that if i don't ride there for a while i also seem to struggle when i go back and am so sluggish and slow.

Sorry about your OTB

very awesome trials...if you looking for some more tech stuff hit some blue stuff ..

I only ride the green route as i am buggered after that due to fitness but can ride everything and like to go fast down the long downhill sections.

Want to do some blue sections but not sure which ones will be shortish and back onto the green.

yafta is 1.1 km I think and not to tech and peels of the green and regions straight back on. Loop b is definitely easier than A . Less climbing easy and not to tech. Would think the most tech part is Barry's point , which is up to right at the top of the twin towers . Those rock faces are the trickiest part of gravity boulders.

Went to Thaba today and did new green route. Some of the new technical turns caught me by surprise, but enjoyed the new more scenic route. Feels longer than actual distance rode. Nice one Wendel. Will try and better time tomorrow.

lol ... those new turns had me locking up my back wheel often .. Wendell said he made it like that on purpose to keep you thinking . It works

Samuel is also quite intersting...
