BouncingBrain Posted August 29, 2016 Posted August 29, 2016 If only Sky didn't have such a blistering strong team at the Tour. We would've had this kinda racing more often. Or perhaps less pressure than TDF? @geraldm24, can we PM u our subs?

Mntboy Posted August 29, 2016 Posted August 29, 2016 What a race.Action galore! I was stoked to see Gesink get second on the stage! He has had such struggles with injuries that it's nice to see him duking it out for a win even from the breakaway! Sent from my GT-S6790 using Tapatalk
Mntboy Posted August 29, 2016 Posted August 29, 2016 AC had to dig deep there. Good effort. Let's hope the rest day helps him. A day without all that tape on his leg will be nice I'm sure. He's a fighter for sure! Part of why enjoy watching him race!Froome did what he always does when this sort of thing happens. He doesn't panic, he rides his own pace while he recovers a bit and then he claws back time hand over fist in the last 2 km. LM looked very comfortable crossing the line :-)He is always so damned composed. If NQ don't win it's going to be Froome's win. Still loads of racing though. This is going to be a great contest! 'Dale Posted August 29, 2016 Posted August 29, 2016 Hey hey the Colombian grimpeur shows his awesome strength in the mountains after sorting out his medical issuesGO QUINTANA Chapeau to Gesink! He who struggled for years now with cardiological troubles.Cool to see him back. Froome, master in pacingThat's what makes him so invincible in TTs.Again, he shows how smartly he spreads his effort. Beautiful racing ????????
'Dale Posted August 29, 2016 Posted August 29, 2016 Oh, and the sheer class of Berto who always races with flair and without fear What a legend ????????????????????????

BouncingBrain Posted August 29, 2016 Posted August 29, 2016 Sub out Nikias Arndt and Sbaragli.. Sub in Atapuma (kicking myself for not having him in already), and Froomie
Pah Bear Posted August 29, 2016 Posted August 29, 2016 If only Sky didn't have such a blistering strong team at the Tour. We would've had this kinda racing more often.Would we then have had others moaning about the strong Movistar team? All teams get the opportunity to put there riders together and if they don't manage to match the strongest team on the course then that's just how it rolls. Another "If" would be "If only NQ was not having some kinda bug, then ... wha wha wha. Every tour has it's own dynamics and each brings different dimensions to one's enjoyment of the sport.
