Help fixing a Troute light

This is not the ideal plug to have on a bike light, it's just too fiddly.

 

 

Does anyone know anyone who can repair this? And hopefully change it to a more standard (jack) plug?

You'll have to dig up a waterproof or shrouded connector from somewhere - this is the fun bit. RS Components might have something.

 

Replacing it is easy, you just need to be able to solder.

That was quick. Looks like I need a DIN 3 pin angled plug and a DIN 3 pin socket?
