Breathing

I'm battling to breathe on the bike especially when it comes to drinking or eating. My nose always blocks up for no apparent reason. It sometimes take up to 3 - 5 minutes just to eat an energy bar on the bike and drinking is basically holding my breath for those seconds.

I came across this product on CWC.

Will this possibly help?

Thanks

under no circumstance should you STOP breathing while cycling :whistling:

I have no idea if that gadget works but you do see some guys using these :

ive used the 3m breath rite version they help with your breathing through your nose if you have small nasal passages or whatever  but not with congestion or being "out of breath" so..

Medically it is unlikely to help - please visit an ENT and get them to have a look at the sinus passages.

Not that eating is eactly easy, you should still be able to breath through your nose.

AFAIK congestion happens further up the nose, so this thing wont work

Maybe not the same, but I must time my eating or drinking for flat parts. Taking anything in on a climb or when you are breathing heavily will result in running out of breath
