Shimano Pedals

Hi All.

Quick question. I'm looking for pedals to use with cleats but I must still be able to jump on my bike to the Local Spar with normal tekkies.

I was looking at the Shimano Click'R PD-T400. But see they are for "people who want to try out cleats". Are they any good. And worth the money ?

Get yourself a set of Shimano DX pedals or the lower end ones with the similar cage will work well.

^^This. Using DX on my Mongoose. Took it with us on a weekend away recently and they were good enough with my Merrells to go for a spin around the farm and have some fun in the forest.

Went from eggbeaters to Candys for the same reason, then onto XT trails due to crank brother servicing issues. Well game changer, just get the Shimanos

Shimano XT or XTR trails are the bomb

Dredging up an old thread here, but at least i'm saving paper by not starting a new one.

So before i ask the question let me just clear up something - "The only Shitmano equipment i ride are their pedals - they Bullet Proof"

Now that, that is cleared up, i'm in the market for new pedals, been riding Shitmano M530's which have served me well but now the bearings and plastic bushes are shot, so wanna upgrade to their higher end padals which i understan have steel bushes and bearings.

EVOBIKES have Deore XT PD-M8020 for about 1500 ronds

Is this a good deal ? - they say they normally like 2300 ronds

Anyone have them ? how do you rate them ?
