could be that guys are running it at super low pressure? I rarely go under 1.6- 1.8 front/back

Yeah, that sounds about right, the wider rim profile, wider tyre profile, lower pressure, better grip ultimately

seems to be an issue everywhere outside of UK and US.

I'm battling to find Mk3 Flow rims at the moment. No stock anywhere. Looking for 2 X 32 hole rims only.

Been Using AC wide lightning rims with sram x0 boost hubs. sram hubs have much quicker engagement than the ac hubs but add cost. Tyre pressure, especially rear, over rocky terrain is an issue as always. Stans flow narrower. Maybe stans will update soon

Also looked for Mk3 Flow rims recently and had to settle for Arch. The Flows are 29mm internal, Arch 26mm. My other wheelset has Frequencyi23 rims. The tyres are slightly but noticeably more chunky and stable on the 26mm Arch rim than the i23.

I went with Hope 4 hubs. They're LOUD but the 8.4deg engagement angle is much nicer to ride in tricky stuff compared to the 20deg DT350 hubs on my other wheelset.

Two things have steered me away form the AC WL's : Can't buy the rims separately and many have reported dents from rock strikes.

Anyone know what the wheelset weights are for:

A/C Wide Lightning

Arch mk3 on Hope 4

Flows mk3 on Hope 4

I'm looking at the current specials on CWC
