Hallo Gaza.

I am very sorry that somehow my team has dissapointed you in an order you have placed. Please accept my apologies an explanation in this matter.

The reason you have not received any notifications is because you shopped anonymously i.e. you were not logged in. Only our logged in users received notifications and updates. However, you would have noted during checkout that your tracking number is your order number with the prefix “cwc” eg. cwc12345

The reason your parcel was delayed is because you opted for an instore collection. Even though you are in JHB, we have numerous clients opting for this outside of CT. They do this when they send their own couriers or in the area on holiday/business. This is not out of the ordinary for us.

We noted your email to ship, but due to this being outside of our standard procedures, it took an additional working day to process.

With this thread attracting much attention, we’d like to take this opportunity to communicate that the ideal shopping experience on our site requires the following:

  • Make sure your browse is updated to the latest version
  • Log in (before adding to your cart)
  • Shop
  • Make sure you understand the implications of the options you are selecting
  • If you using EFT, we cannot ship until our accounts department confirms the amount is in our account.
  • EFT reference MUST be your order number.
  • Apple browse pop ups must be allowed (For Paygate purposes)

As always, feel free to contact Handre or Darron in our online department should you require any assistance with the online process. The retail staff at Willowbridge are not fully equipped to assist with the queries that related to the website. You are always welcome to contact me directly on chrissnr@cwcycles.co.za or call me on 083 640 4823

This is the response I appreciate. Even offering direct contact details and addressing the problem head on.

I've always had good service from cwc.

Just when things were looking up, you open your parcel and the delivery is incomplete!

What happened to the Gloves CWC?

P.s I haven't phoned, haven't emailed, I'm annoyed and venting, because to add to my experience. This morning I got an sms from the couriers. advising that the goods were out on delivery. The stated address listed the completely wrong suburb. So i had to sort that out as well.

To be continued........

As per Cwc response, Chris asked you to contact him directly.

An unfortunate comedy of errors. It happens.

Hope you get sorted.

It's been unfortunate for sure, but to be honest to anyone reading this post, its best if the whole story is told and then they can decide for themselves.

All sorted gloves arrived today, all's well which ends well.

One of the best online retailers out there.... definitely looks after their clients and ensures a happy customer... pity it went as far as putting on here bikehub to get prompt resolution...

I surely never had an issue with them when I have used the online facility, thus far... glad it ended well...

I ordered an MTN Qhubeka jersey from a retailer in Italy on a Monday. DHL dropped it off at my house on Thursday.

That impressed me.

What did the duty cost you?

Another customer experience

Order item

Excited

Go to collect

It was already sold

Tears flow

Refund

This was two weeks ago

ditto. ordered, paid , got confirmation that brakes were in stock and payment received via email. Then got email saying sorry they sold them in store. Refund or new purchase.

Told them I want the brakes they sent me confirmation for. They said they would honor the deal. But then importer had no stock etc etc. Emailed them for 8 weeks and I still ended up with a refund as I had had enough come week 9. True as nuts they had stock a week later.

Have bought bibs and shirts and other from them since and had no issues.

But the brakes 2 months later still grinds me. Always wanted hope brakes.

Have to take the good with the bad.
