Nice.

His dogs name is "Tour" :-)

He makes reference to Stage 15 of last years Vuelta - "breaking a stage of a tour" too.

I was there to watch him do it :-)

(I know, I should probably let this go by now!)

Never let it go.. it was an awesome stage, best GT stage all year.

Yes we know you were there... ????????????

No need to let it go

It was a special day ????????

Very special..

I still think it a pity it didn't net him a better result on GC. His move though did decide race and was brilliant to follow. Quite the character is A.C.

Magical more like. A.C. knows how to animate a race as he did in Paris Nice this year iirc.

That and Gesink's first GT stage win is my favourite memory from last year's GT racing.

Got a feeling we'll be getting another belter of GT season this year!

⚠️

Julian Alaphilippe will have to forgo his aim of competing at the Tour de France after undergoing knee surgery in Belgium today. The 24-year-old Frenchman will be off the bike for two weeks, and has had to set his focus on the second half of the season.
