Cyclocross / Gravel Grinder

Hi guys

 

Looking at getting a Cyclocross / Gravel Grinder bike, but the options seem very limited in SA.  Mainly Specialized and Giant in the sub R25 000 bracket I am looking at for something with Shimano 105.

 

Anyone know of different options?  Also having not ridden one of these bikes, how do you more experienced guys find it?  It this ride very hard?
