Yoh.. guys when i did get reception my phone went crazy..was planning on watching the last 30km at the bar at the venue but then a hockey boy got hurt and I've only now left the hospital..

Yes did record it and will def watch as soon as i get home tomorrow.

I must confess when I read all the updates as they came through (at the same time)..and saw the last one that said.."he has his rock" i actually burst out in tears.. the driver looked at me funny[emoji23][emoji23]

Great win by Sagan!! Would not have predicted him going that long and have to say that when he attacked I thought he got it wrong.

I think it surprised most and once he got the gap it was done.

Also great to see Dellier working so hard al the way to the finish.

Tipping of his helmet/hat shows that he is one of the few that realises that it is all actually about entertainment.

 

Sitting in the bunch and watching your power readouts is not going to keep people entertained and coming back for more. Sure he loses some races he probably could have won by going for the audacious, but yesterday will be etched in history as one of his best victories.

 

It makes me think of the scene in Gladiator, these okes are ultimately doing it for our entertainment:
