The Classics

"The Classics are like the most ridiculous adventures you could ever go on," he says. "Paris Roubaix, dude, ridiculous. It’s wild."

“I haven’t really been a player in any of the major Classics yet. I think finishing both Flanders and Roubaix this year was a huge milestone. Once it got to like five or six hours my left leg used to just shut down, so just being able to do those races and finish in the top 50 I thought was pretty amazing, considering I couldn’t walk two years ago.” - Taylor Phinney on the Classics and his performances this year.

I am hoping for a Boonen v Sagan v EBH finale at PR with Van Avermaet and Kwiatkowski in the mix as well. As Demol said there is loads of contenders for next season. Even a guys like Phinney and Matthews can be dark horses given they get in the right moves and have good form.

But yeah, Sagz is a big contender for sure.

Let's not forget about John Degenkolb either.[emoji106]

Ja one of a few talented sprinters that can pull of a win in the Classics, as he did with MSR.

I suspect that Gaviria and Kristoff will both be keen to do well too!

2015 being his year iirc. Only really missing RVV and the Ardennes races. Degenkolb's good enough to win those as well.

Like I said in my earlier post, loads of contenders for next season's racing!
