Can anyone help?As I am not the most technical.

Bought a bike in Dbn on holiday and had it sent to Jo'burg, it has an ISM that needs to be cut, any ideas on who in Jo'burg is the best to cut this and ensure the fit is perfect?

Or alternatively is it possible to install a traditional seat post onto the Giant?

Really keen to get riding on the bike but seat is too high.

I don't think cutting an ISP is rocket science and any reputable bike shop should be able to assist.

That said, you do want to get the cut right.

Some bikes can use a seapost after being cut but I'm not sure about Giant.

I've looked at a couple of ISP bikes over the years (looking at one right now in fact) but never quite managed to persuade myself to buy.

Good luck.

Thanks for the advise will phone LBS tomorrow.

I know Linden sell Giant just feel a little bad at buying elsewhere and asking them to do the fitment.

Do this, nothing else.

Agree with getting a proper setup done... this will get you at the perfect saddle position... this will ensure that the ISP is cut at the right height first time...

Good luck though....
