We can put a Tour together here that will attract all the big teams, surely? I know there have been some attempts but we can't get it right! I know massive sponsorship is needed and all that but with SA being such a popular cycling destination where the Elites, and others, like visiting, why have we not been able to put together our own pro Tour? We got it right with MTB, the Epic is such a success!

And to do that you must successfully host lower ranked races for a number of years.

You throw enough money at the UCI and you will have your world tour race.
