Gen Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 Chavez is losing chunks of time.. Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk
Patchelicious Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 Looked more like he was blowing chunks. Poor okeChunks is his dog!
Patchelicious Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 Talking about the TT's, you even get Wilco Kelderman you is 26 and much better than Louis unfortunately at the discipline so unless LM starts attacking up mountains to gain time like Andy use to he will always be on the back foot when it comes to TT just like Andy was. This is why you win Fantasy Leagues...
'Dale Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 "It was a real time trial, when you had to produce huge speed. But there was a lot of side winds and so it wasn’t easy. I kept moving on the road but it wasn’t easy to keep the speed high because we did some parts at almost 80km/h," he said. Nibs

Zorro5614 Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 What was Meintjies time, looks like he lost lots of time overall today?
bertusras Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 What was Meintjies time, looks like he lost lots of time overall today? 38th on the stage +3'42" Faster than both Yates boys and Chaves
dev null Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 Smaller riders like Meintjes, the Yates brothers and Chaves was always going to struggle in a TT with lots of wind. You can try and train to mitigate it as much as possible, but you have a much harder battle to beat the physics involved than the bigger riders.
Patchelicious Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 Lopez, Kelderman, Jungels.... good rides!
'Dale Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 Zak the Mack always just spitting distance from podium ????
Pah Bear Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 1 FROOME, Christopher (SKY) 62:53:252 NIBALI, Vincenzo (BAHRAIN - MERIDA) + 1:583 KELDERMAN, Wilco (SUNWEB) + 2:404 ZAKARIN, Ilnur (KATUSHA ALPECIN) + 3:075 CONTADOR VELASCO, Alberto (TREK - SEGAFREDO) + 4:586 LOPEZ MORENO, Miguel Angel (ASTANA) + 5:257 ARU, Fabio (ASTANA) + 6:278 POELS, Wout (SKY) + 6:339 CHAVES RUBIO, Jhoan Esteban (ORICA - SCOTT) + 6:4010 WOODS, Michael (CANNONDALE DRAPAC) + 7:0611 VAN GARDEREN, Tejay (BMC RACING) + 10:1112 DE LA CRUZ MELGAREJO, David (QUICK - STEP FLOORS) + 10:1413 KRUIJSWIJK, Steven (LOTTO NL - JUMBO) + 10:1714 MEINTJES, Louis (UAE TEAM EMIRATES) + 12:4415 NIEVE ITURRALDE, Mikel (SKY) + 23:20
Pah Bear Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 Find the gap between 14 and 15 of interest. Louis is (certain) of 14th bar any major meltdown but will find it impossible to get into the top 10 again. Looking forward to the Angliru. Could produce major time gaps although top 10 look solid.
