Rockshox Reba solo air 2015 travel adjustment

Hi guys

I want to change my recently acquired rock show Reba 100mm to 120mm travel. I've done some YouTube clip watching and determined that I will need a new air spring shaft gizmo which is longer. (Gone are the days when you could remove a spacer I'm told).

Has anybody done this lately and if so can you confirm that the spacer approach no longer works and also where did you get the spring shaft. Is Cape cycle the best source of rock shox parts?

I had mine done a few months ago through the LBS, they acquired the part and did the labour, was about R1200

Yes you have to replace the air shaft on the single air forks, the old duel air's (2012/2013) could be changed with spacers. Cape Cycles are the SA distributor for Rockshox.
