Twist grips

Caring about what is "cool" is not cool. I break most of the rules every time I get on my road bike:

MTB cleats and shoes... check

Camelback... check

Helmet with visor... check

Ankle socks... check

Saddlebag... check

Pump mounted on frame... check

Bidons > 610ml... check

Bar tape matched to bike... nope

HTFU... usually not  :whistling:

question: are you having fun? If 'check' then 'caring' = nope

pictures or it didn't happen lol :)

I'm going for a ride on Sunday, I'll get a picture then

And also yes, if I wasn't having fun I wouldn't keep doing it.

With grip shift you can change through all of your gears with one twist of your wrist. I reckon that's pretty cool.

Grip shifters are very cool, and I'll tell you why.

1. Cleans up the bar.

2. Easy to service and repair.

3. If you use a FD the grip shifter has the in between adjustments.

Saddle Bag is also cool because what other people think of me is none of my business!

Bar ends might be cool but they are dangerous, ask me, I know, no stopper on the end of mine, off to hospital for sewing.

Just out of interest, when did we stop calling them water bottles and start calling them bidons? I assume that is what is being referred to? Probably not cool to not know if they are but hey ho, cool is not a word that has ever been applied to me [emoji23]
