Balooba Posted March 17, 2017 Posted March 17, 2017 I am buying a 2nd hand bike with Easton EA 70 wheel set on. Is this better or worst than a Crest wheel set?? I am 80kg fighting fit.
kjind Posted March 17, 2017 Posted March 17, 2017 Easton are awesome wheels, but unfortunately very little support in RSA.I have the very same set and had to import the T/A conversion adapters for myself.

Edge_Design Posted March 17, 2017 Posted March 17, 2017 I don't like ZTR's personally (no particular reason) and loved the EA70 XCT's (bulletproof apart from the rear axle), but there is virtually no support in SA any longer so I definitely wouldn't recommend them as a long term solution. Rather sell them while they have some value - if something breaks then they are probably worth nothing.

The new breed of wider rims is taking the world by storm and make a great upgrade, including the following rims:WTB Frequency i25Spank Oozy Trail 295 or 345e*Thirteen TRS+
