Contrary to that, it's a shameless marketing ploy. Cwc should stick to selling bicycles, that's their business. And if they feel so strongly about it they ought to keep it to themselves and not shamelessly try to score likes on social media.

You have your opinion and I have mine.

Coming onto Bikehub and expecting nobody will differ from you, on any given subject, is just naive. There are some people that will argue with you just for the sake of arguing, they might not even really feel so strongly about the point they are putting across. We don't even have concensus about riding with a helmet for goodness sake.

In spite of the above, I will also put my neck out and just say well done to everyone who closed their businesses and give people time off to support their principles. This goes for yesterday's It's Time event as well as the various marches taking place around the country.

Like political parties putting their differences aside for a greater cause. So too did many people attend the event yesterday even though they don't support Oom Angus or his stances on some topics. It was done with the intention to change the country for the good, whatever it may mean.

To my fellow Christians: Don't stop saying what you believe in, but also be ready to accept that there are people that will differ greatly from your perspective and that that is also OK.

Imagine the outcry if a Muslim cleric got up in front of a million of his followers and said "What we need is an Islamic government, I can't wait until parliament is opened with a call to prayer"

"Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel. Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth. Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling." Psalms 2 9-12

I thought religious posts were banned in terms of the t&c of the hub.

I guess the rules only apply to some of us.

....aaaand none of those other items on that list ever happens on the hub né?

But two wrongs don't make a right.

Your point is valid. Let's rather have Admin close this thread.

Let us rather go about harassing each other over cycling topics, that is what we signed up for.

Religious or personal attacks. Religious posts themselves are fine. Attacks on a person based on their religion aren't.

Ie: you're able to say the religion is stupid, but you cannot say the PERSON PRACTICING IT is.

I didn't see any harassment? Looks to me like the rules mention religious attacks being outlawed and I haven't seen any attacks so far.
