Just reached the first waterpoint of day 2 after tonight's commute.

Tomorrow the hard work starts - we've commuted these silly distances back to back, but never 3 days in a row.

Yip day 3 normally could be a bugger.

Was hard to get up. Riding was enjoyable as always - just a lot slower.

Tomorrow's the last hard day - hoping that by Friday we'll start seeing the finish line so that should be easier.

When I got to MTB this morning the front wheel was flat. No time to fix so grabbed the road bike instead. Then took the short route in. The legs are getting heavy so actually grateful for the rest.

My legs are complaining, but mind is still in it.

I think I'm holding cat-i up a bit, but she's being quite patient and gracious about it

It was also noticeably colder this morning.

I see accuweather predicts a possibility of rain on Friday!

Very grateful for the extra distance and that we're not racing up the hills.

If it wasn't for you I wouldnt have started doing that extra distance in the morning.

Nancy and I are within afternoon-commute distance from Waterpoint 2 on day 2.

There's a full moon tonight, maybe we could get a bit past waterpoint3 on our way to Jollivet.

Jabez missed 14? + 25 due to Endomondo / equipment issues - so he should be at Waterpoint1 of Day 2 - that's the bottom of the Umkomaas, starting the long climb out this afternoon and most likely  the biggest part of tomorrow.

Bateleur should be able to add another 36 (?) today, so he should be just short of Mackenzieclub tonight.

Ivica's the dark horse - not guessing how far he rides per day and which rides aren't uploaded yet

Stefano is another dark horse - he couldn't ride Monday morning or Tuesday. On 50 at the moment - don't know which rides aren't uploaded yet. But he's leading the Commuter's 2017 challenge, so I guess he's doing massive distances

Looks like Madelein only uploaded 1 commute so far. From the Commuter's 2017 challenge she's also doing big distances a day, and/or very frequent - so still a chance that she'll get to Scotburgh before Saturday morning

Don't know if Dustin and Grant is riding but just not uploading.  I wouldn't be able to ride and not upload immediately - that's the first thing I do even before getting some water - and the only motivation for adding just that one extra block at the end of the ride

Sorry - all gone to hell this week. Haven't managed a commute at all due to needing a car for meetings, although have managed a couple of evening rides. Will have to reluctantly withdraw as I am flying to England tomorrow.

I'm riding...I just can't get Endomondo to agree that I was on the bike... ;)

Tommorow will be day 3 three for me but I think I will be suffering.  Will have to use the MTB and then rain expected all day.  Tough day ahead.  Yesterday and today the most beautifull weather

Had every intention of lengthening my commute this morning but then it was raining and i chose the shortest route to work rather.  ^_^

I've had similar intentions in the evenings until it starts getting dark and I find myself cold and hungry. Then shortest route home FTW

On this morning's ride I left Jolivet and I'm currently riding through the sugar cane fields. I'm ok on distance so far, I'll reach the finish line on the ride home tomorrow, but I'll have to catch up on a bit of climbing today. It'll be a shame to finish the challenge without the required ascent, especially since I'm so close.

Vasbyt almal, the end is in sight  :w00t:

I will be about 38 km short on the distance and I said from the start I will not be able to get the climb done on my commutes.  Had a bad start to the week but doing three days in a row is a get step forward for me so relatively early in the season.

If tommorows ride in the rain works out then the platform is set to get my milage up for the 2017 commuters challange.
